International Symposium on "Elbow stiffness". POSTPONED to 2022

Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,

The current epidemic state of Covid-19 still creates many uncertainties on the possibility of organizing meetings and planning international travels.

In order to preserve the high quality of the scientific program, we did not wish to transform it into a virtual congress but to keep it in a face-to-face session. Thus, it seemed necessary to us to cancel the previous dates, and to re-schedule it in 2022. Because the IACES congress is already scheduled for May 2021, we prefer to keep the availability of speakers and participants for the following year, so that our symposium on Elbow Stiffness will have the success it deserves.

We will get back to you in the spring of 2021 to confirm the new date of the Symposium.

Dear Colleagues,

The elbow is no more the « forgotten » articulation of orthopedic surgeons. The development of knowledge, the improvement of arthroscopic techniques and the reliability of arthroplasties explain the growing interest for the management of elbow pathologies.

Joint stiffness remains one of the most common complications of elbow pathologies. It can appear early or secondary, during treatment. Sometimes associated with pain or joint instability, its comprehension can be complex as well as its management.

This symposium aims to analyze the physiopathology of elbow contractures, whatever their etiology : inflammatory, post-traumatic, neurological, or degenerative. Through different presentations, video and practical sessions, the experts will share their experience and will propose practical solutions for their therapeutic management. Time for discussion and debate will allow interactive exchanges with colleagues from all over the world.

You are cordially invited to participate to this great inaugural event and to contribute to the success of this first symposium on elbow pathologies.

Looking forward to welcoming you in Paris,
A. Vidil – P. Mansat
